That The Lock Is a Hole In The Door Through Which One Can Exert An Effort For a Topological Transformation, One Could Turn The Room Into Another Topological Form Other Than a Closed Box. The Room in Effect Was Turned Inside Out Through The Hole, Through The Lock Leaving The Contents Outside And The Room Now a Collapsed Balloon Placed Farther From The Self Metaprogrammer, 2015

Sonic part of the site-specific installation created in Helsinki, Finland, in May 2015, for an exhibition ><

The installation consisted of an empty desolate bank vault, a sonic piece created by recording the the different sounds found on the site, and the above video. The audio and the video were not in sync.

The audio was a composition created from the sounds found on the site, by touching, beating, caressing, and otherwise manipulating different locks, hinges, doors, keys, iron bars, steel doors, concrete walls, fluorescent lightning tubes, disconnected electric alarm wires, and other objects and materials found on the site.

The composition was created by placing the various haptic sonic images top of each other on a sequencer. There was no plan or compositional structure, the composition was created by chance. The composition, or an aural assemblage, was played back on the site, letting the space resonate to it's own voice.
